Cats have a way of always having been there even if they’ve only just arrived. They move in their own personal time. They act as if the human world is one they just happened to have stopped off in, on their way to somewhere that is possibly a whole lot more interesting.

And they’re still here after they’ve gone.

Having just looked Sir Terry up online, He’s the guy who said, “In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.” There are websites with lots of his quotes, and if his books are half as interesting and fun as they are, I’m in for busy time.

A brilliant quote from a brilliant man. And completely true; cats are just strolling through, living in a time and space of their own.
